Operation Defuse Western Tour Recap #1: CIAC

Kathy and I visited with Colorado Information Analysis Center (CIAC) Public Information Officer, Lance Clem. We weren’t granted a tour of the fusion center because it is in a secure FBI building, but we did get to ask a lot of questions. The entire meeting will be up at a later point, but here is our video recap.

Operation Defuse Northwest Tour

Last night Operation Defuse had a great benefit show to kickoff my northwest fusion center tour. We raised $350 towards the trip, and got information out about fusion centers to a lot of people who didn’t know what a fusion center was. I’m leaving tomorrow morning to start the first leg of the tour, but we still need to raise $650 more to cover gas and food for the trip. Here’s my schedule so far:

5/10-2pm: Meet with the Colorado Information Analysis Center director in Lakewood, Colorado

5/14 : Meet with the Washington State Fusion Center director in Seattle, Washington

5/17-4pm: Meet with the TITAN Fusion Center director in Salem, Oregon

5/20: Visit the Northern California RTTAC in San Francisco, California

5/21: Visit the Sacramento Regional RTTAC in Sacramento, California

5/21: Visit the Western States Information Network (WSIN RISS) in Sacramento, California
